2005 NORTHWEST CHAMPION AUCTIONEER CHOSEN

Brady Hammrich, Stokes Auction Group, Port Orchard, Washington won the four-state Northwest Auctioneer Championship at the contest held during the annual Washington Auctioneers Convention at the Red Lion Seattle Airport on October 9th.

Hammrich has been auctioneering with Stokes Auction Group for the past several year’s and placed third overall in the 2004 Championship Contest. In addition to the championship plaque and designation, Hammrich won a $500 cash prize to be used to compete in the National Auctioneers Association championship contest next July.

Paul Adams, Paul Adams Auctioneer, Middleton, Idaho placed 2nd in the championships and Chuck Whittman, Whitman Auctioneer Services, Spokane, Washington, placed 3rd.

Chantel Booker, Booker Auction Company, Connell, Washington won the Junior Division championship for auctioneers with three years or less of experience. Second place in the Junior Division went to Jake Musser of Musser Bros. Auctioneers in Kennewick, Washington.

Fifteen auctioneers competed in the contest open to auctioneers in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana.
