2007 NW Auction Contest Champions Announced

Randy Ehli, Cascade Auctions, Sumner, WA won the four-state Northwest Auctioneer Championship at the contest held during the annual Washington Auctioneers Convention at the Kitsap Conference Center October 8th.

In addition to the championship plaque and designation, Randy won a $500 cash prize to be used to compete in the National Auctioneers Association championship contest in 2008.

Jack Sanford, Sanford Auctioneering, Port Orchard, WA placed 2nd in the championships and Brian Orwiler, Stokes Auction – Brian Orwiler, Inc., Port Orchard, WA, placed 3rd.

Jacob Barth, Chuck Yarbro Auctioneers & Real Estate Service, Moses Lake, WA won the Junior Division championship for auctioneers with three years or less of experience. Second place in the Junior Division went to Roddy Krause, A-Z Auctions, Dayton, WA.

Fourteen auctioneers competed in the contest open to auctioneers in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana.
